Migrant Workers and Overseas Filipinos Act
Section 8. Documentary Requirement for Repatriation Claim. For repatriation under subparagraph (d) of Section 2 of this Rule , a certification which states the reason/s for the termination of the migrant worker's employment and the need for his/her repatriation shall be issued by the Philippine foreign post or the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) located in the receiving country. Such certification shall be solely for the purpose of complying with this section.
